Bachelor of Physical Therapy: Saint Louis University

Jan received her BS in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University in 1981. During her 30 years as a clinician, she has worked in the rural healthcare setting with all patient types, ages, and in various settings to include hospital in-patient/acute rehab, outpatient orthopedics and industrial rehab, geriatric and pediatric home care, and skilled nursing facilities. She has taught stress and pain management as a childbirth educator for over 20 years, as well as trained and led experiential professional development courses to improve communication skills and enhance relationships. Through her professional, personal and community involvement, she has touched many families throughout the surrounding southeast Missouri counties as rehab therapist, Program Manager, educator, parent mentor and friend. Jan is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Missouri Physical Therapy Association, and the Missouri Community College Association.

Bridget received her BS in exercise science as well as her Master`s in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University. She has worked with patients in various settings to include outpatient orthopedics, home care, and nursing homes in both a treating and a consulting role. She has taught continuing education on the topics of physical agents, modalities, and exercise prescription to therapists working in nursing homes to improve patient management. She completed her CEEAA certification as an exercise expert for the aging adult in May 2011. She is also adjunct faculty at Maryville University teaching in both their occupational and physical therapy programs. She has also helped in the interprofessional education certificate program for health professions at St. Louis University. Bridget is currently pursuing her doctorate in physical therapy through the University of Montana, and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Missouri Physical Therapy Association, and the Missouri Community College Association.

Master of Science: Logan C of Chiropractic

Dawn received a BS in Applied Science from Logan University and holds a degree of Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic. She has been licensed in the state of Missouri and certified in acupuncture by the state since 1989. She holds a certification as a professional coder and has used this knowledge to conduct post-graduate seminars for others in her field. Dawn and her husband ran a successful practice in Oakville for approximately ten years and in 2000 they sold the practice. It was at this time she began her career as an instructor, teaching anatomy and physiology. Throughout the past 14 years Dawn has taught various courses in several different programs.

Kenny received his BS in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University in 1991 and MHS from Washington University of Saint Louis in 2001. Kenny is also a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist, a Certified Hand Therapist, and Certified Athletic Trainer. He has spent his 20+-year career focused on treating orthopedic patients. Although Kenny has treated a wide variety of orthopedic diagnoses, his area of focus has been the care of upper extremity injuries in the athletic and industrial populations. In addition to his role as Division Chair of Health Occupation Programs and adjunct faculty for the OTA and PTA Programs at Jefferson College, Kenny serves as an adjunct faculty member at Saint Louis University in the School of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. Kenny is a member of the National Athletic Trainer`s Association, American Physicial Therapy Association, National Network of Health Career Programs in Two-Year Colleges, and the Missouri Communicty College Association.
