Mark Byington earned his A.S. and A.A. degrees from Mineral Area College. He went on to earn his B.S. degree from Southeast Missouri State University and his M.P.A. degree from City University in Bellevue Washington. He served as a police officer with the Dallas Police Department and with the Mineral Area College Department of Public Safety. He is the former director of the Mineral Area College Law Enforcement Academy and the Missouri Police Corps under the direction of the Office of Justice Programs. He is also a two term POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) Commissioner.

Richard G. Marty, Jr., earned his A.S. degree from St. Louis Community College at Meramec. He went on to earn his B.A. degree from Webster University. He served as a Military Policeman in the United States Army, performing law enforcement duties in the American Sector of West Berlin, West Berlin, Germany, and Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) with forty years of service as a forensic photographer, where he was a full-time member of the FBI Evidence Response Team and a Photographic Instructor for the FBI Laboratory Division, Evidence Response Team Unit, Quantico, Virginia, where he has lectured on topics of Basic Police Photography, Crime Scene Photography, Surveillance Photography, Forensic Photography, and Fingerprint Evidence throughout the country to federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.

Trevor Wild is currently a deputy sheriff with the Franklin County Sheriff`s Office where he has been employed for the past 16 years. He is a supervisor for the SWAT team and a Sgt. within their patrol division. He obtained his A.S. from Mineral Area College. He earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice and a M.S. in Administration from Lindenwood University, St. Charles, MO. He possesses credentials from Missouri POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) as an academy instructor. He teaches various subjects for the Missouri Sheriff`s Training Academy in Union, MO, and was an instructor for the Missouri Police Corps.
