Upon Mr. McDaniel completing his degree at Jefferson College in 2003, he was able to apply the knowledge he gained from Jefferson College`s electronics program as an industrial electrician, service technician, and service manager for 9 years. During his time in the industry he was fortunate enough to be provided many opportunities to travel throughout North America as he worked to solve various problems related to industrial electronics and automation, as well as working as a company liaison for the service department. In 2011, he returned to Jefferson College as a faculty member in the Electronics Department, where he has worked to share his experiences and knowledge with those students interested in working in the various fields of industrial electronics.
While at Jefferson College, he has received advanced technical training with Fanuc industrial robotics, as well as Allen Bradley and Siemens programmable controllers. He is currently a member and certified administrator of the Electronics Technicians Association (ETA). In addition, he has also successfully completed the New Teacher Institute (NTI) while attending the annual MOACTE conference in Springfield, MO, and attended the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) conference in Chicago, IL.
